Installing Talers on Linux
You can install Talers on Linux very easily, whatever your distribution (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, etc.). You can do this in two different ways:
Using the WebApps application
Using a Chromium-based browser
Installing Talers with WebApps
If you have the WebApps application, you can turn any website into an application. All you need is a URL and an icon.
Download the Talers app icon at https ://talers.io/logo/talers-pwa-512.png
Open the WebApps application and press the "+" button:
Add the following information and select the previously downloaded logo :
Name Talers
URL https://talers.io/app?standalone=true
Browser Chromium
Press "OK" and your application is installed!
Installing Talers from a browser
All you need is a Chromium-based browser such as Brave, Chromium, Edge, Opera or Vivaldi.
Just follow these 5 steps:
Open a Chromium-based browser
Go to talers.io if you haven't already done so
Click on the browser menu:

Select "Install Talers":

Click on "Install":

That's it! Just wait a few seconds for the installation to finish, then you can launch the Talers application from Linux.
